The current parking management service for Barnet Homes ceased on Tuesday 31 January 2017.

Barnet Homes are not extending the service past that point and are not appointing any alternative parking scheme contractors and so after this time, residents and their visitors may park on the estates previously managed by us without the need to display a parking permit or the risk of receiving a Parking Charge Notice (PCN). Any Parking Charge Notices issued up to that time will remain valid and payment will need to be made in the usual manner. Wing Parking will also continue to pursue all existing outstanding charges for parking charge notices that have already been issued up to that point.  

If you hold and have paid for a current permit with at least 30 days of validity remaining after 31 January 2017, Wing Parking, on behalf of Barnet Homes, will arrange for a refund of the unexpired portion of the permit with refunds being made on a pro-rata basis depending upon the number of complete months remaining on the permit. 

If you have paid for your permit via a credit card, a refund will be arranged for the relevant amount directly to the card or account that originally made payment, to comply with credit card regulations and you will receive a letter of confirmation to that effect. Permits paid for by other means will be refunded by cheque sent to the permit holders address.

Refunds will commence being processed on 1 February 2017 and all are expected to be processed by 28 February 2017. You should not enquire about your refund until then, but if it has not been received by 3 March 2017, you should contact Wing Parking directly to enquire about it.

If you have purchased visitors permits and still hold some, then because it is not possible for us to know exactly how many you are still holding, we cannot make automatic refunds on these types of permits. These should be returned to Wing Parking at Plaza 668, Hitchin Road, Luton, Beds, LU2 7XH by 31 March 2017 at the latest for a refund. We recommend that you send them by recorded delivery as we cannot issue refunds for permits that are not recieved by us (for whatever reason).
